CUBE Unveils 2027 Line-up: Reworked Litening Aero, Revived Fritzz and Tubeless Valve Shake-Up

German manufacturer CUBE has lifted the lid on its 2027 range, headlined by a substantially reworked Litening Aero C:68X race machine, the return of a much-loved trail bike name, and a notable shift in how its bikes handle tubeless set-up.

The Litening Aero gets a ground-up redesign for the new model year, with CUBE promising sharper aerodynamics and updated frame architecture aimed at riders chasing marginal gains on the road. Alongside it, the Fritzz nameplate makes a comeback after time away from the catalogue, slotting back into CUBE’s mountain bike family and likely to please long-time fans who remember the model fondly from previous generations.

Perhaps the most talked-about change, however, is a smaller but widely relevant one: CUBE will fit Clik Valve as standard across much of its 2027 tubeless-ready range. The system, designed to make inflating and removing valve cores simpler and more secure than traditional Presta fittings, has been gaining traction across the industry, and CUBE’s adoption signals a push towards making tubeless maintenance less fiddly for everyday riders.

Beyond the headline models, the brand has refreshed colourways across several ranges and introduced a handful of new accessories geared towards practicality, from storage solutions to finishing kit, rounding out what CUBE describes as one of its more comprehensive model-year updates in recent seasons.

For UK riders, the changes are worth watching closely. Aerodynamic road bikes remain hotly contested at this price point, and a genuine redesign rather than a mild refresh could shift buying decisions for club racers and sportive riders alike. Meanwhile, wider adoption of Clik Valve technology could quietly reshape workshop routines and roadside repairs, regardless of which brand of bike you actually ride.
