Wolf Tooth Components hands UK distribution reins to Mohawks UK
American component specialist Wolf Tooth Components has struck a new distribution deal with Mohawks UK, naming the Yorkshire-based firm as its sole route to market for British retailers and riders.
The agreement means UK bike shops will now source Wolf Tooth’s range – including its widely used dropper post levers, chainrings, cage bolts and increasingly popular gravel and mountain bike accessories – directly through Mohawks UK, rather than via previous import arrangements. Both companies have described the tie-up as a chance to sharpen stock availability and speed up delivery times for dealers across the country.
Wolf Tooth has built a loyal following among British riders over the past decade, particularly for its machined alloy components that let cyclists fine-tune gearing and cockpit setups without switching entire drivetrains. Mohawks UK, which already distributes a handful of well-regarded cycling and outdoor brands, said the partnership fits its focus on performance-driven products backed by strong technical support.
For everyday riders and racers alike, a more consistent UK supply chain should mean fewer delays when chasing replacement parts ahead of a big event or simply upgrading a drivetrain mid-season. Anyone running Wolf Tooth kit on their gravel or trail bike, or eyeing up its increasingly popular tubeless valve and bag mount systems, should find it easier to get hold of spares and accessories through local dealers rather than waiting on overseas orders.
Neither company has detailed pricing changes as part of the switch, though a smoother distribution setup is typically the first step towards wider product availability and, in time, more competitive retail pricing on the shop floor.
