Eurobike has confirmed it will settle into a fixed annual rhythm, with organiser Fairnamic announcing that the trade show will take place every June from now on. The move follows extensive consultation with exhibitors, brands and retailers across the cycling and ecomobility sectors, many of whom had pushed for a return to the earlier calendar slot the event traditionally occupied before recent scheduling shifts.
The 2027 edition, marking the show’s 35th outing, will run from 30 June to 2 July at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre in Germany. Fairnamic says fixing the dates to early summer gives manufacturers a more predictable window to launch new ranges ahead of the following season, rather than competing with the crowded autumn trade calendar that has caused headaches in recent years.
Eurobike has grown into Europe’s largest gathering for bicycle and e-mobility businesses, drawing thousands of exhibitors and visitors from across the world each year. Settling on a consistent date should make it easier for brands to plan product reveals and for buyers to build their diaries well in advance.
For UK riders, Eurobike’s timing matters more than it might first appear. Many of the bikes, components and accessories that eventually land in British shops are first shown off in Frankfurt, and a stable June slot means the usual pipeline of new road, gravel and e-bike launches should filter through to UK dealers with more predictable timing ahead of the following year’s riding season. It also gives British brands and importers a clearer fixture to work towards when planning their own product calendars.
