Saracen Teams Up with Twisted Oaks for New South East Demo Base
Saracen Cycles has struck a fresh partnership with Twisted Oaks Bike Park in Suffolk, appointing the venue as its newest official demo centre for riders across the South East of England.
Under the arrangement, visitors to the 58-acre park will be able to try before they buy, with Saracen’s gravity-focused CR2 jump bike and the Ariel 80 park rig both available to demo or hire on-site through Dialled Cycleworks, the park’s in-house bike shop and workshop operation.
The tie-up marks the latest step in Saracen’s push to widen its network of demo locations around the UK, following similar deals struck at other trail centres and bike parks in recent seasons. Rather than relying solely on dealer test rides or events, the brand is betting that direct access at purpose-built parks gives riders a truer sense of how its bikes perform on the terrain they’re actually designed for.
For riders based in East Anglia and the wider South East, the move fills a notable gap. Options for hands-on testing of full-suspension jump and park bikes in the region have traditionally been limited, often requiring a trip north to the Peak District or Wales. Having demo stock permanently based at Twisted Oaks means locals can sample high-end park bikes without committing to a purchase first, or hire kit for a session without needing to own specialist equipment at all.
It’s a small but sensible piece of the wider growth story in UK bike parks, where facilities are increasingly bundling in retail, coaching and rental services alongside trails. For everyday riders weighing up whether a dedicated jump bike suits their riding, or simply wanting a session on unfamiliar terrain, this kind of low-risk access is exactly the sort of development On Track likes to see spreading beyond the usual mountain biking heartlands.
